Machine Safety Systems
Safety is paramount with automated systems and with ever more stringent safety rules coming into play, companies need to ensure that their machinery is not just safe, but that it meets the latest standards.
We can design and install, upgrade and modify equipment to include the safety system required for the application, as defined by the relevant risk category. This could be the interface to a simple safety gate, or more complex systems such as dual channel with cross monitoring and feedback. Whatever the problem, we can provide the complete solution, including the specification and supply of the appropriate equipment (sourced purely from the industry leaders) such as light barriers, pressure mats, interlocking systems and safety relay interfaces.
PLC, CNC and Servo Control Systems
Whatever the complexity of your task we can provide the electrical control solution. We have vast experience in the selection, installation, programming and commissioning of units featuring PLCs, such as Allen Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi NAIS and Bosch Rexroth amongst others.
Retro-fit Controls
The rapid pace of electronic development can mean that control equipment becomes obsolete earlier than the mechanical parts of machine. However, such equipment can be given a new lease of life by replacing the control system. We offer a full service for upgrading equipment by retro-fitting new control systems.
Where possible machines will be removed to our workshops for overhaul and refit. For larger machines or processes, or where production down time has to be minimised, the upgrade can be done on site.
Design, Build & Installation of Electrical Motor Control Centres & Control Panels
We offer a custom design, build and installation service for low voltage distribution switchboards, motor control centres and control panels. From replacement of obsolete or malfunctioning panels to complete new systems, we have the ability and experience to meet al your requirements.
We can offer various types of construction from Form 1 to Form 4 and Type 1 to Type 7. All assemblies are manufactured to BS EN 60439-1:1999.
IP65/IP54 custom built enclosures are also available and suitable for either wall mounted or floor standing applications.
