Vacancy - Project Supervisor

Required to manage specific projects encompassing estimation, procurement, account applications and final documentation.

Main duties:

• Work in conjunction with the Project Director/Manager to ensure compliance with the company business plan.
• Communicate and liaise as directed by the Project Director/Manager with clients of the company database and develop new clients within the focus of the company core businesses.
• Assess the viability and time constraints of the project to be undertaken on behalf of the client and any special requirements. Up to a value agreed with the Project Director/Manager.
• Estimate and prepare quotations, as directed by the Project Director/Manager using company provided bespoke software system, for the design and pricing of projects. Including all correspondence with the client.
• Assist the Project Director/Manager in keeping an up to date record of all current estimates and running projects.
• Review with the Project Director/Manager any contract/payment conditions required with the client.
• Discuss with the Project Director/Manager the prime costs/profit margins anticipated for the project.
• Provide in a bi-monthly report the status of each running project under his control to the Project Director/Manager and the future prospects of any current client quotations.
• Prepare as required a project plan for the client to meet the time scales of the project.
• Prepare all risk assessments and method statements and ensure they are prepared for the execution fo the project.
• Purchasing of all materials/sub-contract labour for the project.
• Checking of all invoices received from suppliers; confirming quantities and conformity with the original supplier's price quotations and discounts.
• Attend any progress/site meetings to ensure efficient installation of the project.
• Provide sufficient supervision for all of the direct and sub-contract labour, employed on projects.
• Ensure that the relevant site staff under his control makes provision for the safe storage of all materials required to carry out the project.
• Supervise the inspection, testing and documentation of the projects under his control.
• Supervise the provision of all required as fitted drawings and service manuals under his control.
• Ensure with the Project Director/Manager stage payments and final account details including all contract variations to the project are invoiced within the terms of the contract conditions.
