A five day course aimed at personnel with limited experience of inspection and testing of electrical installations. It would prepare candidates who wish to go on to achieve the City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate 2391-10. It is also suitable for those personnel involved in inspection and testing of their own work, such as those personnel carrying out work in domestic installations under Part P of the Building Regulations.
This new qualification is designed to the requirements of the 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations (BS7671:2008) and is restricted to initial verification processes only.
The full qualification is achieved following successful completion of both a theory (closed book) multiple-choice on-line examination of one hour and forty minutes duration and a two hour practical assessment.
Courses are available at all NECTA Training Centres or on-site at your location.
