A 1 day course aimed at engineers, electricians and other personnel who have a responsibility for electrical safety in the workplace with regard to electrical machinery.
The course focuses on the requirements put forward in the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER2). However, it also includes coverage of the requirements under the European Machinery Directives and the Supply of Machinery Regulations 1992.
The course looks closely at the specific issues of machine guarding, safety interlocking and electro-sensitive protection systems. A general look at risk assessment is also included.
The course fee includes comprehensive course notes, a certificate of attendance, refreshments and a buffet lunch.
